Our commitment

No SNS activity takes place without a named safeguarding lead and a written attendance record. Photography at events requires consent at the point of capture.

Volunteering with under-18s

• 16 and 17 year olds may volunteer in non-hazardous roles only.
• Guardian consent is recorded before the first session.
• Under-16s join public events with a family member, as supporters rather than volunteers.
• Every volunteer receives safeguarding orientation before starting.

Photography and consent

At public events we tell people, visibly, when cameras are in use. Children are photographed only with a guardian present and agreement. You can ask us to remove an image at any time.

Reporting a concern

Email info@swadeshnaiswarga.com with the subject "Safeguarding concern". We acknowledge within 48 hours. If there is an immediate risk to a child, contact the local police first and tell us afterwards.
