Accessibility

What this site does

• Every page has one real heading, and the heading levels run in order.
• A skip-to-content link is the first thing you reach with the Tab key.
• The animated ridge line in the header is decorative, is hidden from screen readers, and is switched off entirely if your system asks for reduced motion.
• The entire page still reads with JavaScript disabled.
• All text passes AA contrast, including on the light and red sections.
• Every hover effect has an equivalent for keyboard focus.
• Tap targets are at least 44px on a phone.

What we have not finished

• A full screen-reader audit has not been run yet. That is the next piece of work, not an afterthought.
• Nepali-language pages are not yet translated. English is the source language today.
